1. Information we handle
We may handle account and contact information; authentication and security records; project prompts, scripts, uploaded media, generated outputs, and publishing selections; service usage, device, diagnostic, and audit records; and billing or entitlement evidence.
Payment-card details are intended to be collected by Paddle rather than stored by AI Video. Do not place sensitive identity, payment, health, or financial information in prompts or uploaded project content unless it is necessary and you are authorized.
2. Why we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts; save and process projects; generate, render, and publish content at your direction; enforce limits; provide support; prevent abuse; maintain audit and financial integrity; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers and transfers
We may use infrastructure, authentication, email, storage, analytics, AI-generation, media, publishing, and payment providers. This may require processing outside Singapore. Providers receive information only as needed for their role and under applicable contractual or legal safeguards.
4. Retention and security
Retention depends on account tier, project state, operational needs, disputes, security, financial records, backups, and legal requirements. Deleting a project or account may not immediately remove required audit, transaction, abuse-prevention, backup, or legal-hold records.
We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
5. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability relating to your personal data. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where legally or operationally required.
6. Children and third-party content
The service is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing. You must have authority to upload or process another person's information, likeness, or voice.
7. YouTube API Services
AI Video and its Recap Studio desktop companion use YouTube API Services. When you connect a YouTube channel, we access it through the YouTube Data API only to do what you ask: upload your videos and Shorts, set titles, descriptions, thumbnails and captions, add videos to playlists, post and read comments on your own videos, and read your channel's basic details and video statistics. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens for each connected channel, the channel ID and name, and the IDs and publishing status of videos we uploaded for you. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can disconnect a channel at any time in the app, or revoke AI Video's access in your Google Account at Google security settings. When you disconnect or revoke access, we delete the stored tokens; channel and video data obtained from YouTube is deleted within 30 days, or sooner on request to support@ai-video.cloud.
8. TikTok
The Recap Studio desktop companion can publish your videos to a TikTok account you connect with TikTok Login Kit. We use the TikTok Content Posting API only to do what you ask: upload a finished video to your TikTok inbox as a draft, or post it to your profile with the caption and privacy setting you choose, and check whether that upload has finished. We read only your basic profile details (open ID, display name and avatar) and the posting options TikTok offers your account. We do not read your other videos, followers, messages or viewing activity. By connecting TikTok you also agree to the TikTok Terms of Service.
The TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored on your own computer by the desktop companion, together with the IDs and status of the uploads made for you. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can disconnect TikTok at any time in the app, or remove AI Video's access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens.
